Messaging Consent and Unsubscribe Policy

Effective date: February 14, 2026 | Last updated: February 14, 2026

This policy defines consent, send eligibility, and unsubscribe requirements for Dispatch messaging users.

1. Permission-Based Sending Only

You may send messages only to recipients who have provided valid consent where required by law.

2. Prohibited Recipient Sources

  • Purchased, rented, scraped, or third-party lists without valid consent.
  • Recipients who previously opted out.
  • Invalid or non-user addresses used for abuse.

3. Email Unsubscribe Requirements

  • Include a clear unsubscribe mechanism in marketing emails.
  • Process opt-out requests without undue delay.
  • Complete unsubscribe processing within 10 business days.

4. SMS Opt-Out Requirements

If SMS is enabled, you must support standard opt-out keywords such as STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE and stop non-transactional sends after opt-out.

5. Monitoring and Enforcement

We monitor sending quality metrics continuously. Accounts that exceed the following thresholds are subject to review, throttling, suspension, or termination:

  • Bounce rate above 2% — indicates invalid or non-consented lists.
  • Spam complaint rate above 0.1% — triggers immediate review.

These thresholds align with AWS SES, Google, and Yahoo sender guidelines.
